Private document review and coordination from our Kissimmee office, serving Orlando and clients across all 50 states.
Which divorce document do you need?
A divorce certificate records the dissolution of a marriage; a divorce decree or final judgment is a court record. Ask the receiving institution which version it requires before ordering or sending documents. The Florida Department of Health provides dissolution-of-marriage certificates; the court clerk is the source for a court judgment.
Our review begins with the document you already have and the recipient’s written request. We do not issue divorce records or determine your marital status.
Match the document to its issuing jurisdiction
A Florida record, a record from another U.S. state and a Puerto Rico record need separate review. Florida’s accepted-document instructions distinguish certified vital records from records certified by a court clerk. A notarized photocopy is not a substitute for the required official certified record.
For Puerto Rico-issued records, use our Puerto Rico divorce document page. For other court records, see Florida court document support.
What to tell us before sending a document
- The exact document title and issuing state or territory.
- The court or vital-records office shown on the certification.
- The destination country and receiving institution.
- Whether you have an original certified record or a photocopy.
- Your deadline and any translation request.
Begin with these details in the review form. Wait for case-specific delivery instructions before sending originals.
Can an apostille prove that my divorce is final?
An apostille is not a substitute for any separate evidence of finality the recipient requests. Ask the court or your legal adviser which record establishes the facts needed for your case.
How much does the service cost and how long does it take?
Request an estimate after review. Record preparation, jurisdiction, government processing and delivery affect the schedule and total cost. Florida handling estimates do not automatically apply to another jurisdiction.
